anyone who is a fan of the synthpop/futurepop of the Different Drum label
will find kindred spirits with Travelogue, an act which is named after an
early Human League album and has been championed by Ronnie of Joy Electric.
For followers of Depeche Mode, Gary Numan, Human League, 80s synthpop!

Fri Apr 23 goth, postpunk!
SOMETHING ABOUT VAMPIRES AND SLUTS
with Jordan Decay (ex-Carmilla's Dress) and Dakoda (ex-Montag Conspiracy)
8 pm $6 all ages Garfield Artworks, 4931 Penn Ave, Garfield
yes, this band's name sounds like the title of a pictorial out of
Propaganda magazine. but they are actually a propulsive, angular, dark
& danceable gothic/postpunk band out of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, of
all places (they must not get a lot of sun though). If you liked the Radio
Berlin show you will equally enjoy this (both bands have the same booking
agent, who also does The Epoxies - good taste!).

Very soon you will have to figure out where Penn Avenue is. Why not do it
sooner rather than later? Hope to see you there!
