scary industrial metal fest/ego likeness

scary industrial metal: yup, still scary, still industrial, still metal.

ego likeness was... enh.  i guess i shouldn't really review them
because i no longer land inside their target audience.  i bet if you
like current goth music you'd like them; they also seem like trip hop
fans *might* like them.  they do seem very technically proficient. the
first song that they played wasn't to an oontzy 4/4-to-the-floor
backing and sort of reminded me of lowsunday, which made me
interested; there was a stronger guitar presence and wall-of sound
styling on that song than any of the other songs.

however, once the oomph-oomph-oomph started getting going i got bored.

i do have to say it was pretty lame of some of the people at the show
to yell at them for not being metal.

bella morte was fun, no surprise there. gopal and i even made bella
morte origami. like uh.. frog totem poles.
