Actually, Jeremy~

I have been running a site dedicated to events across PA for a few years now. But--like I already said--promoters don't want to promote their events except to people who already know about their events. Believe me, it's not empty complaints... more like recurring exasperation.

I would love to make it out to more events (so that I can know about more events)... but aesthma and long travel times, coupled with a career in the service industry make that near impossible without hearing about events far enough in advance. And so, as much as I try to be a part of the solution... I find myself that much more frustrated because I am (indeed) part of the problem.

I used to be a dj (club and radio) and part of a small promotions team. But when aesthma (and ongoing radio station politics) all got the better of me, my artistic outlet came to an abrupt end.

Now, I'd just be happy to go out to shows now and then and maintain the site. But... (see paragraph #1).

ps. the comment about PghGoth honestly wasn't trying to be nasty, though I can see in retrospect how one might think so. I was just pointing out that there's a reason why folks don't know there are setlists posted. There are also people out here who think--for instance--that Ceremony is still on Wednesdays (had someone email me about that a few weeks ago). The only reason I know any different is because I have friends who've been there on and off over the past year.

this. You can continue to complain that someone else isn't providing
you a service that you want for free, but it will get you nowhere.

On those occasions, PghGoth appeared to be non-existent (again). I just figured the machines went down again and--since there were no updates lately--no one bothered to revive them. (But now it's up again... in all it's outdated glory.)
