My name is Lisa + I was born and raised in the 'Burgh, but I moved to NYC about 10 years ago. The majority of my family + friends still reside there, so I visit once or twice a year. The music/club scene I was an active participant in was that of the early 90s- the Beehive, the Upstage, the Decade, Graffiti, Metropol, Laga etc. Though that's all history now (like many of the legendary bars/clubs/scenes in NYC I came here to be part of), I am seeking out like-minded individuals + goth-leaning events in my hometown to check out whenever I am visiting . So, that's why I'm here. Besides, I admire the way the underground has always been kept alive in Pittsburgh . . . you never know, I may move back there some day when NYC gets too boring (not to mention too EXPENSIVE) for me. I'll actually be in town the first week in April + I am looking forward to checking out any new parties, venues + shows.
