10/22: Jean Grae cancelled; Merck IDM acts moved to Quiet Storm!

hi folks-
don't know if any of you were planning on checking out Jean Grae, but if
so you can save yourself a trip and just go to Quiet Storm. See below.

quick update on a show happening this week:

the Jean Grae / Jedi Mind Tricks / Pumpkinhead / Soul Purpose show which
was supposed to be at the Upstage Wed Oct 22 is now cancelled, because
Jean has cancelled her tour.

Merck recording artists from Minneapolis
Tiki Obmar (live downtempo/electronica quartet)
and Cepia (laptop IDM)
who were originally the openers for the Jean Grae show,
will be playing Wed Oct 22 instead at the Quiet Storm, 5430 Penn Ave
in Friendship. $5, all ages show at 8 pm.

So save yourself a trip to Oakland and just head straight over there
at 8.
