...I really hope The Dresden Dolls aren't confined to the ghetto of gothic
target-marketing (though the goth appeal certainly is there).  I think Jen
said it best: "That empty space in my heart where Courtney, PJ, Tori, and
Liz all abandoned me to maturity and soft-rock crap (or just plain sucking
in certain cases) has been filled."

I had the good fortune of running into Brian (the drummer) on the stairs
on the way out.  I only stopped him briefly, but he was extremely
friendly.  I wanted to compliment him on how *tight* the show was-- they
obviously practice a lot to synchronize their timing and get their act
perfect.  It would be easy to lose yourself in his partner's voice and not
appreciate what a great drummer is up on stage, too.
