It's easy for people who are really "In The Scene" to miss this, but
the truth is, people are just people.  They engage in all kinds of
social and artistic pursuits without always thinking of the context of
what kind of person it makes them.

Especially in Pittsburgh it seems, which is something I like.  Most of
our ostensible "goths" are well-educated, well-rounded individuals
with full, rich lives involving a wide variety of non-goth interests. 
They just happen to intersect on a certain aesthetic sensibility.
