only the second-ever Pittsburgh appearance for a Tuvan throat singing group!
(the first was five years ago - Yat-Kha at the Carnegie Lecture Hall, and that
drew 400+ people).

don't miss this!!

CHIRGILCHIN - MASTER THROAT SINGERS FROM TUVA
Considered the cream of the crop of today's younger generation of Tuvan throat
singers. The group sings ancient folk songs and modern songs in the Tuvan
language and plays handcrafted instruments. Also known for their innovative
compositions with an almost jazz-like handling of the traditional techniques
and instrumentation.
