my point, as always, is the seeking of clarity from reliable
information, and the dismissal of misinformation. if i am only
stating vagaries, it's to point out that it's all i know of the
current topic, and would like to know more. i've been doing a lot of
political work here in seattle, and i was honestly curious if i'd
missed some direct connection between yet another media group and the
republic party's influence.

devil's advocacy is a well estabilished method of debate. if your
position is solid and based in fact, a few pointed questions shouldn't
bring it tumbling down.

and you are right, i was not coming out and saying ""Manny, you are
wrong. People shouldn't boycott Clear Channel. They should give money
to Clear Channel to see KMFDM."

my questions and statements had nothing to do with boycotting clear
channel or kmfdm, or the contrary. i was turning the debate slightly
to another topic, i couldn't care less about boycotting cc. i was
curious about the political analogy you were drawing, which turns out
to be a foundless exaggeration.
